Cedar Crest Cabinetry represents the latest chapter in the Bettencourt family's rich history in New England’s woodworking community. Company president Greg Bettencourt's great grandfather, Howard Custance, co-founded Custance Brothers in 1911. Building on a reputation for quality, the company grew to be the largest contractor in Lexington (MA) for much of the 20th century. Looking to continue this legacy, the Bettencourt family assumed responsibility for Cedar Crest Cabinetry in early 2015. Cedar Crest, a company with its own 30-year legacy in custom furniture and cabinetry, provided a great foundation for this effort.
Under Greg’s leadership the last several years have seen a complete retooling and remaking of the company into a state-of-the-art cabinetry firm, supported by a creative, talented, and energetic team of experts who excel at assisting customers in every phase of design, construction, and installation.

GREG BETTENCOURT, PRESIDENT
Greg and his wife Megan feel blessed to have found their passion project in Cedar Crest Cabinetry. Greg's experience in family business, engineering, remodeling, project development, team leadership, and customer service are utilized on a daily basis.
This is dovetailed with Megan's background in culinary media, community impact as a Registered Dietitian, and recently her position as head chef for their two-year-old son.
Cedar Crest Cabinetry has provided a chance for both Greg and Megan to combine their love for quality and community, showing customers how to cultivate happy and healthy living by extending the concepts of "mise en place" throughout the entire home.
